The Museum’s art research library of 143,500 non-circulating volumes and over 200 periodicals provide significant primary and secondary resources for the study of the history, criticism, and theory of art.

Statewide Educational Resources (click for further information)
The Office of Statewide Partnerships lends over 2,500 DVDs, videotapes, CD-ROMs, films, educational discovery kits, posters, and traveling exhibitions to schools, museums, arts centers, and other non-profit institutions in the state of Virginia.
